Activating Extensions

After downloading an Extension, you need a license to activate the Extension. There are two ways of getting a license, either you need to order a new license or your buyer have purchased a license for you that you might have to activate.

 

To order a new license, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Extensions installed button.    

  2. Click the link Order Licenses in the field Manage licenses to the right. The Order Licenses Wizard appears.

  3. Follow the wizard and fill in the information required.

  4. Click Order in the last step in the wizard.

  5. Now, depending on your buyer, the extension will unlock immediately or you have to wait for approval from your buyer.

 

A License buyer can order licenses for you. In most cases you do not need to manually activate a license that a License buyer has ordered for you. Usually you will be notified about the new license next time you start CET Designer. If you know that a License buyer has purchased a license for you while you have CET Designer running, just click the Refresh button in the upper right corner of the Extension Manager. You will then receive a message telling you that you have received a new license.
