RevLink uses a network connection to communicate with Revit Architecture. In the Revit Settings dialog (see figure 1 below) you can test your connection and set synchronization options. More options will be available once you have a connection.

The Revit Settings dialog is divided into four ares:
Status: The status allocator can show three different modes:
- No connection: CET Designer cannot connect to Revit Architecture with the current settings.
- Trying to Connect: CET Designer currently trying to connect
- Connected!: CET Designer has successfully connected to Revit Architecture.
Connection Settings:
- Adress: Enter the name or IP address to the computer that Revit Architecture is running on.
- Port: Enter the port number that is used by the RevLink Add-In in Revit Architecture (default port is 22088).
- Connect: Use the Connect button to reconnect with Revit Architecture.
Synchronization Settings:
- Level of detail: Select the level of detail in the drop down menu.
- Delete objects that do not...: Select the Delete objects that do not... checkbox to delete objects in Revit or CET Designer that not exist in the other application.
- Export Architectual walls from CET to Revit: Select this option if you wish to include walls in your export that are drawn with wall components in CET Designer.
Disconnect: Disconnect the connection.
