A simple way to select one component in a group of components is by using the Select Single Object tool.

Follow these steps:
Make sure you have chosen Expert user level.
On the toolbar above the 2D view, click the button with an arrow and a single snap point (see Figure 1 above).
Move the mouse pointer to the drawing area.
Click the component you wish to select. The yellow snap points are now visible on the selected component. The component is also surrounded by a purple square.

Note: If you have selected the Select Single Object tool and switch from Expert to Standard user mode, the single select feature will be inactivated. |
