Activation is a basic function in Configura . Many options in the software require the component you are working with to be activated, i.e. selected. A component is activated when its yellow snap points are visible.
Some basic characteristics of activation are as follows:
You activate a component which you have already placed in the drawing area by clicking on it. A component is automatically activated when it is positioned in the drawing area. In both these cases the component's yellow snap points are visible.
The component is no longer activated (becomes deactivated) when you click outside of it, when you click on another component or when you position a new component in the drawing area.
Only one component at a time is activated, unless you click and hold the Ctrl key while you click on and activate other components.
You can deactivate one or several components by clicking anywhere on the white part of the drawing area.
To activate several components at once: click and hold the Ctrl key at the same time as you click on the components you want to activate. You can also use the Select Rectangle in the toolbar. In both cases, you have created a temporary group.
Note: You can deactivate snap points one at a time by clicking on them. The deactivated snap points turn gray. |
