Using Create Elevation you can create an elevation view of a component. This is the case with, for example, an accessory called Binder, standing (found under Office in the tree-view on the Accessories tab).
Let us assume that you want to create an elevation view of this accessory to be able to place it in a cabinet from the Storage tab.
Follow these instructions:
Position a cabinet from the Storage tab in the drawing area.
Position the Binder component in the drawing area.
Make sure that the binder is activated. If not, click on it to activate it.
Choose Create Elevation from the Edit menu.
Move the mouse pointer into the drawing area. An elevation view of the binder appears next to the mouse pointer.
Position the elevation view in the cabinet, on the shelf.
Create Elevation is also available on the pop-up menu which appears when you right-click on the component for which you want to create a side view.
Follow the instructions below:
Right-click on the component and, from the pop-up menu which appears, choose Create Elevation.
The side view appears next to the mouse pointer.
