Using Save as Favorites, you can save drawings or images which you want to be able to reuse. For example, this could be a drawing which you are using as a type of template. You can use the favorites you have saved by pasting them in.
Follow the instructions below, if you want to use the function Save as Favorites.
Choose Save as Favorites. The Windows Save As dialog is displayed.
Choose where you want to save the drawing or image.
If you don't have a particular folder set up, create a new one, name it and save the favorites in this new folder.
Save as Favorites can also be accessed from the pop-up menu which appears when you right-click on a component.
To use the favorites you have saved, follow the instructions below:
From the Edit menu:
Choose Paste Favorites from the Edit menu. The Open dialog is displayed.
Select your favorite and click on Open. The component or group of components is positioned in the drawing area.
By right-clicking:
Right-click in the drawing area. A pop-up menu appears. Choose Paste Favorites.
The Open dialog is displayed. Choose the favorite you want by highlighting it.
Click on Open. Your favorite will appear next to the cursor (the favorite is transparent).
Drag it to the position you want and click it in position.
