The Administrative Tool in the Company menu allows you to create and save your own product databases and is available for the following product categories:
In the administrative tool it is possible to specify product dimensions, part number, descriptions, weight and prices. Once you have created a database for a specific product category, the price calculations will work automatically as you position the desired components on the drawing area.
It is also possible to export the product databases and allow other InstantPlanner users to import and use the databases that you have created. Of course this means that you can also import product series in the InstantPlanner formats (x.dbe and x.dbx) from someone else. It is also possible to import data from MS Excel.
In the following chapters you will find descriptions on how to create, edit and delete product series. All examples are then based on the Selective Pallet Racks products. The basic principle for your work in the administrative tool is the same, whether you work with pallet racks or shelving.
