About Drive-In/Push-Back

Drive-in system uses rails to hold pallets in the system. A rail is positioned on both sides of an upright, left and right. A push-back system uses beams to connect an upright, two beams for each upright. One beam is placed on the front column and one on the back.

For the product category  Drive-In/Push-Back, it is possible to create product series in the Administrative Tool.

The typical user scenario when working with drive-in/push-back racks in InstantPlanner, would be to:

  1. Configure the products in the Design Specifications dialog.

  2. Continue doing the required pre-settings below (Rack Height, Beam Levels etc.).

  3. Design your system by placing the Racks component directly in the drawing area. You can stretch it in width whilst positioning it. The system can also be stretched in depth after placement in the drawing area. An elevation view is added automatically.

  4. Add dimensions.

  5. If required, use the Eraser tool to remove items from the drawing layout.

  6. Add articles in the Pick List.
