All examples below are based on the Selective Pallet Racks products. The basic principle for your work in the administrative tool remains the same, when working with either pallet racking or shelving.
After you have created a product series, you may need to add more information to it.
In order to alter a products series, follow the steps below:
Open the Administrative Tool dialog again.
Make sure that Selective Pallet Racks is selected in the Product Range choice.
In the drop-down list to the right, select the desired product series.
To lad the data, click on the Open button to the right. The selected product series will then be displayed in the table below.
In order to alter the values for the uprights, select the Uprights tab.
Select the Edit tab.
You will now see a list of the uprights that you have already entered for this series. The white fields below Description, Weight and Price are editable. Click the first Description field and alter the descriptive text for the different uprights. Press Enter to move to the next field.
Repeat the process for the Weight and Price fields.
In order to alter the values for the beams, select the Beams tab.
Select the Edit tab.
You will now see a list of the beams that you have already entered for this series. The white fields below Description, Weight and Price are editable. Click the first Description field and alter the descriptive text for the different beams. Press Enter to move to the next field.
Repeat the process for the Weight and Price fields.
When all the desired fields have been edited, save the changes by selecting Save Product Series in the dialog's File menu or by clicking on the Save button. Close the dialog.
Back on the Selective Pallet Racks component tab, make sure that the product series you just edited is selected in the Product Series choice. Select a Bay component and place it in the drawing area. Snap an Elevation to it. Open the InstantPlanner Calculation and you will see the new descriptions, weights and prices for the items that you modified.
