Database Management

InstantPlanner's Database Management allows you to alter very advanced settings in the program.

Proceed as follows:

  1. From the File menu, select Database Management. Two dialogs appear.

  2. Ignore the password in the Password dialog, simply click on OK.

  3. In the Database Management dialog, select the desired option and click on Open.

  4. In the Open Table dialog, select desired settings and click on Open.

  5. Regardless of which settings you have selected, a Database Table opens. In the left-hand Value column, you can enter new values in the editable fields.

  6. Clicking on the Row edit button will open a dialog where rows can be added or removed from the table.

  7. Clicking on the Export button will open a dialog where you can save the table as a text file that can be pasted into MS Excel.

  8. Back in the Database Table, click on the Save button if you want to save your changes.

 

Note:

  • The databases can be password protected. In the Database Management dialog, click on the New Password button and enter the desired password.

  • Be careful with deleting rows in the databases - this might cause instability in the program.
