What You Can Do with Renderings

All images from the Render Queue are collected in a folder on your local computer called Configura Render Queue, which is automatically created when you render an image for the first time:

Each rendering is saved in two formats in the Render Queue folder, .png and .exr, where .png is the rendered image and .exr is the HDR image. The reason for saving .exr images is to enable post processing. If you have added post processing, however, this is reflected in the .png image file.

Renderings have multiple uses; here are some suggestions:

• in a business proposition, email or pdf

• to share in a Briefcase on MyConfigura

• as imported images in your drawing

You can easily add a rendered image from the Render Queue to the drawing area. Just click the image in the viewing area, or one of the images in the list, drag it to the drawing area and drop it in the desired location. You can also use drag and drop to place the image in several other places, for example on your desktop, in your Windows explorer or an image viewer. When you drag and drop an image from the Render Queue window onto the drawing area, the image file is saved to the folder as stated in the Control Panel (in the General tab, check the File location for your Images folder).
