The Family Exporter is used to modify and create Family Files. You access the Family Exporter dialog box by clicking the Family Exporter button on the RevLink tab (the dialog will only appear after you have tagged articles).
The Family Exporter dialog:
1. In the Family Files field, all families that you wish to create will be listed (Categories). Each family has one or more Family types (Tags).
2. You can Delete, Duplicate and Reset Settings for a family in the tree. You can find your objects in the 2D or the 3D view by clicking the Find articles button.
3. By clicking the Settings button will open the Family Settings dialog for the selected family.
4. Use the Load and Save buttons if you would like to save current tree and settings.
5. By clicking the Create Families button, CET Designer will try to connect to Revit and create the families in the family tree.
