About Importing and Exporting

The File menu contains a number of useful features for importing and exporting drawing information.

When selecting the Import menu item from the File menu, three options are displayed:

Import Drawings and Images

Import Cad Drawings

Import 3D Objects

Import PDF pages/images

When selecting the Export menu item from the File menu, these options are displayed:

Create Archive Drawing

Export Drawing to EMF

Export Drawing to Cad

Export Drawing to VRML

If a component in the drawing area is selected, the Export selected component as 3D option becomes available in the Export menu item.
